Mohenjo-daro is a sindhi word which means Mound of the Dead Men. It is located in west of Indus River in Larkana District, Sindh, Pakistan. It was also known as Harappan Civilization. It is among one of the world's earliest major cities, built around 2500 BCE. Indus Valley Civilization is one of the most unique civilizations of the world. A trip to Mohenjo-daro is worth visiting although it's so tiring visit especially in summers. I remember I had a school trip to Mohenjo-daro when I was in class 4. I was so excited to visit this historical place. We entered through a large entrance gate. The ruins were scattered in wide area. There were no vehicles allowed inside the ruined city. Brick pathways were made to walk around this city which was so exhausting and tiring in the heat of summer. When I reached there I saw a painting of big white buffalo on wall, it's so amazing.
